Farm Life

Farm life, it’s what some of us do every day. I grew up on a dairy farm and watched my parents fight for years to work, manage the farm, kids and a million other things I never understood. 30-some years later, I finally understand the strength in the fight to maintain that lifestyle every time I look in the mirror. I understand that strength every time I look at my children. In a world where things change in the blink of an eye, I relish in the life on the farm. I surround myself with the trials and tribulations of country life, the successes, the heartaches and the stresses. But from all of this emerges a deeply rooted sense of purpose and a drive powerful enough to move mountains. Because at the end of the day, it all boils down to instilling that drive and passion to keep pushing against the worst of odds into the hearts and minds of our children. Teaching them a sense of self worth and confidence and commitment and compassion is above all else, most important. In my mind, there is no better way to instill this than the life provided by the farm. <3
